Upcoming Downtime!

There will be some up-coming downtime as I migrate to a new server. I am also leaving town to do a week of tests to finish my trade, so hopefully the migration is done before I leave, otherwise it may be as loong as a week :/ (shouldn't be)

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Unveiled!

Blizzard Entertainment is happy to announce the third World of Warcraft expansion set, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm! Hidden away in his sanctuary within Deepholm, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing has waited, recovering from the wounds of his last battle against Azeroth and biding his time until he can reforge the world in molten fire. Soon, Deathwing the Destroyer will return to the surface, and his eruption from Deepholm will sunder the world, leaving a festering wound across the continents.

In World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, players will be able to play as two new races -- goblins and worgen -- as they explore newly revealed parts of Azeroth and re-experience familiar zones across Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms, areas rewrought by the cataclysm and filled with new opportunities for adventure. Players will achieve new levels of power, take on challenging new dungeons and raids, and experience sweeping changes that will alter the face of Azeroth forever.

For more information, make sure to read the official press release and FAQ, and then visit the new World of Warcraft: Cataclysm site for screenshots, information about the new features, concept art, the announcement trailer, and more.

Forum Updates

Welcome to (yet another) new Blizzard Sector look. I feel that this one is more practical than the Diablo III Skin! If you are still using the DIII Skin check out the new look by selecting WoW in the skin selector :)

The forums and a few addons have also been updated. I will be going through updating everything else here as well as adding some new features.

Stay tuned.

Diablo Big Announcment!!!

While in a complex chat about the identifying system in Diablo games and what'll be in Diablo 3,

In a different light you could literally remove it entirely and probably not impact gameplay itself very much at all. It's also open ended enough where you could blow the system out and do something new and cool with it. Ultimately (and I know it's a broken record at this point) we'll do what is best for the game and what adds to the best game experience possible.

Personally - my own personal thoughts on the system - are that I think you could do almost anything with it and I'd be just fine. It wasn't annoying to me when playing the previous games, it was just a part of how they played, if it was removed I don't think I'd really miss it either, and if it was changed for the better then that's cool too.
Bashiok also dropped the most important announcement ever!!! You ready for it?

Here it is:

Staff Changes

It has been brought to my attention that the current moderating team needed a shake-up. As a result all admins/mods with ZERO moderating actions since the 1st of January 2009 (In the last 46 days) have been de-modded.

Also gratz to the following:
Ares promoted from Moderator to Super moderator
Pamela reinstated as a Super moderator.
