This program generates a save file of your character and writes it to your save folder. Join a game with your battle.net character, select your game window in the loader and press install. If everything went fine you should see a message in the game.

It doesn't save:
- WPs
- Quests
- Skills Shortcut

Comment: open diablo log in to battle.net choose you character and create a game then run bn2sp.exe and it should work

Comment: Ok here's what i did (im "the guest user") opened diablo ii in a window. selected character. created and joined game. ran bn2sp.exe. selected game window in bn2sp.exe ui. then i clicked "install". i checked the diablo ii save file and found files for the character in a new folder called "us west" but when i went into single player mode the character wasn't in the list. any ideas? btw thanks for the assistance thus far.

Comment: I did what you said...opened diablo2 created a game with the charector i wanted started the loader chose my game hit install but nothing happened...what am i doing wrong???

Comment: Okay so i use this ...in order to help me pre plan where im going to put skill points/ stats and see how my build will be with the gear i chose for it. etc basicly see the outcome in single so its not a waste of time on closed... anyways i got this idea... i tried exporting a char from closed to...single player with a bunch of unidentified items and when i identify them in single they come out as just the item with no magical properties... no stats is there anything you can do in code to export unidentified items?? so u can identify them in single player?? that way i can see if a torch or anhi is good before i identify it....?? is this possible?
